ZAGir-Sweet Dreams

"Master?"
Zim lifted his head from the pillow and blinked with bleary vision.
"Mmm?"
Gir stared up at him with big, blue eyes.
He shifted his weight from one leg to the other, clutching his old, worn, stuffed piggy to his chest.
"Can I..C-can I sleep...with you?"
At this point Gir's glowing components were making Zim's eyes tired, and he'd give anything to just roll over and go back to sleep, but he had to ask.
"What for? Don't you have your own room, with your own bed?"
Gir instinctively tightened his grip on the piggy, looking a little ashamed.
"I had a scary dream..."
Zim yawned, pulling back the covers in deafeat. The other gave an excited little jump and clambered in beside his master, the stuffed animal squeaking loudly underneath him.
Gir snuggled up to him, their bodies fitting together perfectly. Despite the cold metal pressing against his skin, Zim quickly started falling back to sleep.
"Master?" Gir started uncertainly.
Zim sighed. "What now?"
"Can I tell you what my dream was about?"
After a moment of silence, he gave in.
"Sure.."
Gir buried his face in Zim's shirt and began.
"Well I was here...in the base...and I went upstairs and-"
"And? That doesn't sound scary."
Gir whimpered and burrowed further into the fabric, tears welling up in his eyes. "But you weren't there."
Zim cursed under his breath, pulling the small robot closer.
"Well I'm here now, so...just don't worry your cute little head about it."
Gir sniffed, smiling. "Thanks, Master. I feel better now."
Maybe it was just the tenderness of the moment, or something else.
Something made Zim lean forward and kiss him.
On the lips.
It was light and soft, and it barely lasted a second, but it made his heart pound and his face grow hot.
He pulled away slowly, trying to read the expression on Gir's face.
Gir seemed just as shy as he was, lowering his eyes.
Zim gulped and murmured an apology.
Gir gave him a small smile, pressing his head underneath his master's chin.
"Don't be sorry." he said.
Zim blinked.
"Uhh..Okay.."
Gir laughed quietly.
They both fell asleep.

Zagir- contest entry
Zim was down in the Main Lab, the lab was fairly dark other than the open elevator and the flat screen monitor that was above Zim, whos was leaning over a long table. There were scraps of metal scattered all over across the table. There was this metal contraption that he was mainly leaning over, using some type of flame thrower, that was really an Irken blow torch, hence the Irken symbol that was on top of the lid..
Zim quickly turned the blow torch on and pulled a mask that was hanging over his head down to hide his face, other than his antennae that was hanging loosely out from under his mask. He lowered the blow torch down so the fire mad

I'm sorry I hurt you.
Zim was in his lab fixing an "amazing" invention he had made. It was supposed to bring the filthy humans back from the dead, and let the zombies destroy the Dib. That was his main priority right now. To destroy Dib. He smirked evilly, wondering Dibs reaction to when he saw a whole army of zombies coming straight toward him. He won't know what hit him. Zim thought. The green alien needed complete silence. Just as he was about to screw the last screw in, as if on que, "HI MASTAH!" Gir yelled with joy. Zim jumped, and dropped his machine on the floor, shattering it. At first, he stood there, baffled, eye twitching. Gir broke a lot of things, but
